Donate Your Clothing
Instead of bringing your clothing to a big box thrift store, consider supporting this small shop instead.
Here, each piece of clothing is researched, laundered, mended, and steamed. Donations allow this business to pass the buck and donate overstock to local non-profit partners while keeping the $5 bins stocked. Regardless, your clothing is guaranteed to go to a fellow mom who needs it for a fair price.
Donating is also a great way to purge your clothing ASAP as your donation can be dropped off/picked up at any time! Please be in touch.

Clothing that is labelled as maternity and nursing, as well as clothing that isn’t labelled as such but is wearable for pregnancy and nursing (such as flowy dresses, button-down shirts, etc.), can be included in your donation.
Intimates such as nursing bras and reusable nursing pads, maternity tights, maternity underwear, belly bands/support bands, maternity bathing suits, and maternity/postpartum shapewear are welcome, as long as they’re clean.
Items with damage (rips, stains, tears, pilling, etc.) can be included as they will be placed in the $5 bin or donated to a local non-profit partner such as the Pregnancy Care Centre or YGK Thrift on your behalf. Please be reasonable and do not donate items that are no longer honestly wearable.
Breast pumps are sometimes accepted (dependent on current storage capacity). Donations of breast pumps and associated accessories are directly passed along to moms in need at the Pregnancy Care Centre.
You can donate as much or as little as you like, even one piece is super appreciated!
A 20% off coupon will be electronically sent to you as a thank you! Use it or pass it along to a friend.

Sell Your Clothing
If you have maternity and/or nursing clothing that you are interested in selling to Struck By Secondhand for resale, please read the following info and fill out the form below.
Additional details…
Struck by Secondhand does not operate based on a consignment model. Lots are purchased outright for a bulk price and you will be offered roughly 20% of the total value since the work to sell these items is being taken off of your hands entirely! Items are washed, priced, and sold via try-on for you long after you’re gone. You just leave with cash in your pocket! Well, more likely an e-transfer.
Lots are purchased based on the contents of your form. Should there be a need for your pieces, you will be asked to make a buying appointment at the Home Shop.
Children's clothing is not accepted.
Accepted clothing for sale includes pieces that are specifically labelled maternity and/or nursing clothing.
Pieces suitable for pregnancy and/or nursing but not labelled as such are rarely considered but always accepted as a donation.
Those who are also willing to donate items will be prioritized in having their lot purchased as this assists in the shop’s mission to pass overstock to local non-profit partners.
Intimates such as nursing bras and reusable nursing pads, maternity tights, maternity underwear, belly bands/support bands, maternity bathing suits, and maternity/postpartum shapewear are welcome, as long as they’re clean.
It is not necessary to launder your clothing, all items are washed and steamed at the Home Shop.
Please carefully examine your items. Items with any damage (rips, stains, tears, fading, excessive pilling, etc.) cannot be included in your lot for purchase. They can however be donated to the shop.
Once you have filled in the form below, you may be contacted by Anna if there is a current need for your particular item(s) and asked to coordinate a buying appointment at the Home Shop.
The price you are offered depends on the type of items you have (the season), the condition of these items, and the brands included.
You are welcome to fill out the form and still sell the pieces on your own if you wish. If contacted, you can provide updated info on the most recent status of your lot.
There is no guarantee that your lot will be purchased by the shop after submitting the form below.
Please fill out the form below should you like to sell your lot to Struck by Secondhand
But, what happens once you do?
You’ll be contacted directly should there be a need for your particular pieces based on size, season, and current stock levels. More stock can only be purchased if current items are finding a new home, so please be sure to share the shop via word of mouth and social media!
